Mmmmmmm, ribs...

This was Harley's first experience with BBQ ribs. She fell in love.

Notice the sauce dripping from her chin.

JUST A SWEET PICTURE:

Kids Christmas Tree

We have a "kids" Christmas tree. Vanessa and Harley decorate it. Tony and I do not touch it. So the ornaments go only as high as they can reach. Each year it is getting higher and higher.

(and no, we do not let the girls watch Family Guy. The shirt was a gift to Tony. It's too small for him.)

The FUNNIEST picture of the Christmas Season:

I think I'll do a Recap too!

1. The BEST and most exciting thing that happened this year was on February 15th. Adrienne was born! My beautiful, content little girl came into the world in a whirlwind by emergency C-section. Hard to believe she'll be 1 in just a few short weeks.

2. Tony got a job after being out of work for almost 7 months.

3. Harley finished her 1st year of preschool. She is now in her 2nd year of preschool. She's a smart and clever little girl.

4. Vanessa started Kindergarten in the fall. She is reading several words and doing a great job of sounding out words she doesn't know. Harley is trying right along with her.

5. My brother graduated from mortuary school.

6. Me? Well, I have survived having a spouse out of work for several months, had a baby, helped with school, dealt with the unbounding energy of 2 young girls, worked a full-time job and have managed to keep a shred of sanity.

I can't wait to see what 2009 holds in store for us!
