I just have to tell you about my big girl Harley. Today was her 5 yr old check up. This is the first time she has had immunizations since she was 18-months or so. I warned her that she would get shots. I tried to explain that it hurts worse when she falls down or Vanessa hits her than it does to get a shot. However, she saw Vanessa getting blood drawn and the HORRIBLE time we have with her (screaming, hyperventilating, being held down, etc.). So I'm not sure she was buying it. I told her to close her eyes tight, put her head in me and she would hardly feel a thing. She even remembered to breathe in through her nose and out through her mouth.
She was SO good. Not a peep! I am so incredibly proud of her!
By the way, she's 47in tall. WAY off the charts!
