Last Year In Single Digits....

'Cause Harley Quinn is 9!!!

The girl is incredibly creative and amazing. She is constantly thinking of art where others see scraps.

At this point in her life she wants to be a cake designer/decorator. She has seen every single episode of Cake Boss. She has watched endless hours on YouTube of people making cakes, decorating cakes, giving advice about cake, you name it. She decided she wanted to make her own birthday cake...from scratch. Even after hours and hours and having to change direction a couple of times she STILL wants to be a decorator.

Prank Calls

Remember when you could call someone, anonymously, and ask if they had Prince Albert in a can?

Our kids have NO idea about stuff like that. Evidence:

I was visiting my Grandma Evelyn. She has a rotary phone in her bathroom. While I was in the living room talking with my Dad, Margaret and Grandma Evelyn, my cell phone rings. It tells me ahead of time that it's Grandma Evelyn calling me. I answer the phone and hear Vanessa asking me if my refrigerator was running. Hahahaha. Good one.

All 3 girls come giggling out of the bathroom. Vanessa says, "After we figured out how to dial it..."

Bawhahahaaahahaa!! Now THAT is funny. They had to figure out how to dial the phone.

Kathy and Tyler surprised me on my birthday with an Edible Arrangement. It was so sweet (literally and figuratively). Chocolate covered pineapple? Yes, please!

My Dad and Margaret (with artistic help from my sister-in-law, Meghan) put this lovely sign on my garage door unbeknownst to me. Kathy was so much nicer to me.
