There are stories from everyone's childhood that are shared year after year to the chagrin of the person who made the unforgettable memory. One of those memories was created Friday night in Target. Harley, still working on potty training, had an accident in Target. I grab some jeans, purchase them and headed to the bathroom with the girls and the new pants. We're in the handicap stall (trust me, we're handicapped!!). I had to go potty as well, so as I am sitting on the toilet I begin to change Harley. A mom always knows how to multi-task! As soon as I get pants and panties off of Harley, she opens the stall door and runs out, running back and forth in front of the stalls laughing hysterically. Meanwhile, I'm yelling for her to get back in and shut the door! The other women in bathroom are laughing at the sight. It's funny in retrospect, but I truly wanted to strangle her.
It's one of those moments that I will relate to her over and over so that she can feel just a sliver of the embarrassment I felt!
